Desktop Publishing

Desktop Publishing in foreign languages is a complex task and can be extremely challenging. OpenWorld matches layout and text of translated documents with the original for over 50 languages. We support most PC and Mac fonts and deliver print-ready .EPS and .PDF files. We work with most major desktop publishing programs, such as PageMaker, FrameMaker, QuarkExpress, Publisher, etc.

Interpreting

OpenWorld provides simultaneous or consecutive interpretation on-site or via three-way telephone communications for over 50 languages. Whether it's social services, medical emergencies, international conferences, or confidential meetings among senior government officials, OpenWorld has the experience and track-record of success to dispatch the right interpreter for you.

Transcribing

Our experienced translators can transcribe from video or audio tapes and translate into requested target language in a timely manner. We can also provide audio files in different formats.

We specialize in transcribing and translate into multiple languages, rare languages and under tight schedules.

Project Management

At OpenWorld, we understand that the successful completion of a project starts with solid planning. Our project managers display superior problem solving skills in finding the most cost-effective and least time-consuming solutions for our customers.

We prepare detailed project plans with executive summaries, carefully developed schedules, realistic budgets, and detailed workflows. During the execution phase, project managers maintain frequent contact with subcontractors, collect work samples, and provide technical assistance.
